Lemon Quartz

​Lemon Quartz also called green gold or Oro Verde Quartz, Lemon Quartz is formed by heating Amethyst, yellow quartz and iron together at high temperatures. This heating process allows for the brilliant yellow color that characterizes Lemon Quartz. The Amethyst and yellow quartz mined to create lemon quartz primarily come from Brazil, while some have also been found in Arizona. Quartz is believed to help with the amplification and structuring of thoughts. Since the color yellow is often connected with clarity, communication, and happiness, Lemon Quartz can also be associated with these qualities. Lemon Quartz is also used in meditation to aid with concentration and focus, while also filtering distractions and reducing anxiety.
