Named after Christopher Wren, W R E N was inspired by the elegance, proportion, and craftsmanship that defined Georgian-era architecture and jewelry design throughout 18th century England.

During the Georgian period, jewelry was entirely handcrafted, with every detail shaped intentionally by artisans rather than machines. Pieces from this era were known for their warmth, softness, and romantic glow in candlelight — designed during a time long before modern brilliance and precision cutting existed. That sense of old-world craftsmanship and understated beauty became the inspiration behind this ring.

The antique pear-shaped diamond was chosen for its character, depth, and softer light return that feels incredibly authentic to Georgian jewelry. Rather than looking overly perfect or sharp, antique stones have a warmth and movement to them that I’ve always found much more romantic and timeless.

The six-prong setting was designed to feel delicate and refined, almost floral in the way it softly frames the diamond. Inspired by the arches and upward lines found throughout Georgian cathedral architecture, the cathedral setting gently lifts the stone above the band, creating an elegant silhouette while also making the diamond feel protected and supported within the design.

I wanted the ring to feel like an heirloom from another time — romantic, architectural, and deeply intentional without feeling overly ornate or heavy. Like much of Georgian design, the beauty comes from balance, proportion, craftsmanship, and the subtle details that reveal themselves more over time.
