In creating my signature collection, I thought about an earring that captures the CLD woman. She is stylish, yet true to herself. She looks expensive without trying. There is a confidence in the way she dresses—a sense that she knows what suits her and chooses well.

I kept coming back to one of my favorite fashion icons: Sade, the original It girl, and her iconic hoops. There is a self-possession to Sade that I have always admired. In interviews, she speaks thoughtfully about the music that shaped her. When she sings, you feel that depth. Her presence is magnetic, her sensuality unforced. She gives you enough to feel connected, while keeping something for herself.

Her hoops became an extension of that presence. With pulled-back hair and simple clothes, their scale framed her face and brought a daring elegance to the whole look. Through decades of wear, a timeless form became distinctly hers.

That is what I wanted to bring to this collection: an essential with presence, made to become part of a woman’s everyday life. A pair she returns to because they feel like her. Over time, a signature.
