Époque was designed as a tribute to the Art Deco era — a time when the world was emerging from uncertainty and stepping into modernity with optimism, confidence, and ambition. The name Époque comes from the French word meaning “era” or “period of time” — a tribute to one of the most influential design movements in history. Born in the 1920s after World War I, the Art Deco movement celebrated progress, architecture, innovation, travel, luxury, and craftsmanship. It was defined by strong lines, symmetry, precision, and a forward-thinking approach to design that still feels iconic today.

With its architectural Asscher cut center diamond, double baguette side stones, and clean geometric structure, Époque captures the spirit of that era. Every detail was intentionally designed to complement the distinctive shape of the Asscher diamond — from the sharp symmetry to the double claw prongs that give the ring a refined yet modern edge. The design feels structured and precise, while still remaining timeless and deeply elegant.

What fascinates me most about the Art Deco period is that people viewed technology, machinery, and innovation as something inspiring rather than threatening. Today, with AI, robotics, and technology at the center of modern life, there is often a fear that craftsmanship and artistry will be replaced. Époque is my response to that idea.

This ring is a reminder that no matter how advanced the world becomes, nothing can replace human artistry, craftsmanship, precision, and intention.
