The Stone of Interface

Labradorite is a stone found near Labrador, Canada. It has also been reported in Norway. It can display an iridescent optical effect known as labradoresence. Labradorescence is not a display of colors reflected from the surface of a specimen. Instead, when light enters the stone, it strikes and reflects from a a twinning surface within the stone. Labradorite is believed to be a protective stone, creating an interface between your own personal energy field and that of another person. It helps keep you objectively aware instead of taking on the thoughts, feelings, and negative energies around you.
