The Hope Stone

Amazonite, sometimes called “Amazon stone”, this mineral is limited in its existence. Amazonite is blue-green to pale green stone in the feldspar group. It is found in the United States, Australia, Brazil, Madagascar and Russia's Ilmen Mountains. The first Amazon stones discovered had been obtained along the shores of the Amazon River, giving these multicolored greenish stones their names. This stone is also believed to be a potent talisman of healing and prosperity. There is evidence of its use in jewelry in the early Mesopotamian, Indian, Egyptian, and Sudanese cultures. In today’s culture, pale azure blue Amazonite is known as the lucky "Hope Stone".  It opens intuition and grounds it in everyday reality. Protecting against electromagnetic fields, It blocks geopathic stress.
